Are you a Pittsburgh native? If not, what brought you to the Pittsburgh area? No- a job brought me here
What are your three favorite movement activities in the Pittsburgh area? Trail running w dogs (fartlek), mtb and gravel biking
Describe your fantasy movement-focused vacation…cost is not an object…where do you go and what do you do? San Juan Hut System – hut to hut mtb ride – Durango to Moab
What is your go-to weekday breakfast? Your weekend breakfast? Steel cut oats, with almonds, protein powder, frozen cranberries, yogurt and 2 Tbsp of granola- week and weekend breakfast
What is your favorite thing to eat in Pittsburgh? Note: it does not need to be healthy. Good espresso
What is the most unusual and/or challenging movement activity you’ve done? Would you do it again? Most unusual- multi year participant in the Georgia Games torch challenge- running and biking across the state of Georgia to support the Georgia Games- an Olympic style sports festival.
What movement activity/event are you looking forward to in the next year? Fat biking (already happening) and snowshoeing
Would you rather go scuba diving or sky diving? Neither- I would rather do some sort of mountain related activity- trail running, mtb, etc…
What is your favorite recovery or self-care practice? Sleep and Rolfing
What is the one place visitors to Pittsburgh “must” see? The extensive rails to trails…an under appreciated gem in the PGH area
